Microsoft is rolling out a new Office UI look to all its users. Earlier this year, Microsoft unveiled the new visual look, and during summer, the testing of this new update began. The new Office UI update will be rolled out to all the subscribers of 2021 and Office 365.
This new Office UI includes a more rounded Office ribbon bar and some minor modifications to Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, including the buttons.
Moreover, this new update also gives a fresher look to Windows. You can also align the same theme, either dark or light, as your Windows with the Office. In addition, you can toggle on or off to enable or disable the new design using a megaphone icon in the top right-hand corner of PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and OneNote, which is coming soon with this new feature.
All Windows 11 users can now download the new Office UI update. In addition, the new Office UI will be available directly to 50% of current channel customers, according to the tech business.
Notably, this update brings many minor changes, but Microsoft has hinted that Office UI will have more significant changes, which include a command bar in place of the classic ribbon interface.
We’re still expecting them to debut first in the web and mobile versions of Office. Microsoft previously stated that its more considerable Office UI changes could take a year or two to roll out.
